Fundraiser to support Pale Fire’s salon



Pale Fire’s salon is a sanctuary that welcomes Vancouver’s art community to celebrate the gallery’s artists and their exhibitions. It’s an affordable and relaxed place to gather and reflect on our shared life in art, to recognize our achievements, and to welcome guests to the city.

The salon is a place of world making that values hospitality, service, collaboration and family. Pale Fire aims to synthesize the aspects of artist run, academic and commercial art culture that are best suited to support artists at this time. The gallery does not receive any private nor public funding, and is developing a resourceful business plan that identifies the salon as an integral source of revenue.  

For the salon to survive and thrive, we need to obtain a non-traditional liquor primary license. We are asking those of you who cherish this space to donate funds to cover the licensing fees and required renovations, projected to total $20,000.00. We will submit the license application at the beginning of June, complete the required steps and renovations over the summer, and aim to re-open in September 2025. Additional funds raised will directly support Pale Fire’s programming.

How to make a donation:

1. Credit card or Paypal (via cart below). A 3% Stripe/Paypal processing fee will be added to your donation.

2. E-transfer to amy@palefireprojects.com *Please add the note “Pale Fire Salon Donation” to you e-transfer.

3. You can rent the salon for a private event. Details can be read here.
